The day begins at 8:30 AM with a free seminar taught by Karen Main called: THE “I” IN TEAM

Strong teams don’t happen because of just one person’s influence. Strong teams come about because each member decides to participate fully and authentically. What sort of team member are you? What role do you play on your team? For so many of us, we never even think about it – we just go through our day. But when you stop and think about it, there are things we each can do to be more committed, more involved, more strategic and more engaged members of each team we occupy.
This interactive session will invite you to assess the typical role you play on your team. We’ll review the different components necessary for a high-performing team. A unique challenge activity will help you assess:
• The role you tend to play as a member of your team
• Ways to positively contribute as a team member
• Your strengths as a team member
• Behaviors you can implement going forward to become a more strategic member of your team

At Noon, CGFOA will host the 2nd Quarter Networking Luncheon of 2018. Spend some time getting to know Board members or fellow professionals in CGFOA! The lunch provides a great opportunity to invite a colleague that is not a member of CGFOA so they can learn more.

Finally, at about 1:00 PM, CGFOA will host the second Board meeting of 2018. All Board meetings are open and we encourage you to join us. This is your organization and your input is important as we continue move through the 2018 CGFOA year.

On Friday, April 20, the 2018 Conference Committee convenes for it's first planning meeting of the year. Continuing with our successful new committee structure , this is sure to be a great planning meeting for the 2018 conference in Breckenridge.

Be sure to indicate which components of the event you will attend so we have correct numbers for all meals.  Also if you are a Board member or committee chair, please register as such so that you are able to answer additional questions about your hotel needs.
